Look for the red barn on River Road and park in the lot there. Current book: "The Cow Loves Cookies" by Karma Wilson. While all the other animals on the farm enjoy eating their regular food, the cow chooses to eat the one thing that she loves best. Library Branch: Off Site Room: Byron Forest Preserve: Indigo Trail StoryWalk Age Group: Family Event Details: Walk the trail and enjoy a story! The Indigo Trail is located at the Byron Forest Preserve near the Jarrett Prairie Center. Park in the lot by the Jarrett Prairie Center and look for the storyWalk® sign between the playground and the Jarrett Prairie Center. Walk along the prairie past the playground. The story starts near the woods. Current book: "Lucky Duck" by Greg Pizzoli. Susan the duck has the worst luck. Her rollerskates are two sizes too big. She's lost her favorite marble. And she's run out of pickles.
