How Do I?

All residents of the Byron Public Library District are eligible for a free library card. To learn how to get a library card, visit our Get a Card page.

BPLD is fine free, however, if an item is lost or damaged you may be billed for the replacement of the item.

You may place a hold on an item in the catalog on the website, from the PraieCat on the Go App, or by calling the library.

When: The 15th of the next month is when registration opens

The Creative Studio is open to patrons ages 18 and above. Children ages 11-17 may use the Creative Studio with the assistance of an adult. Children 10 and under are NOT allowed in the Creative studio. Equipment and resources are provided on a first come, first served basis.

Send your completed application, resume, and cover letter to jasons@byronlibrary.org or drop them off at the library. We will keep your application on file for six months and may contact you if we have an open position within that timeframe.
