Printing
All black and white prints are $0.10. This includes printing from the public computers, scanner, microfilm machine, and wireless printing. All color prints are $0.25. Wireless printing allows you to print virtually any document or web page from your Internet connected PC to the library’s printer. No additional software is required. If you cannot pick up your print within 2 hours, please call the library staff to print for you before it automatically deletes.
Scanner
The Byron Public Library District has a scanner available for public use. Printing a scanned image is $0.10 for black and white prints, and $0.25 for color prints. Emailing the images or saving them on a USB flash drive (not provided by the library) is free. Our scanner has the ability to save in several different formats, such as PDF, JPG, and WORD.
Fax
The cost of sending a fax from the library is $1.00 for the first page, and $0.25 for every page thereafter. Everything that is being faxed must be on loose leaf, letter-sized paper (8.5×11). Photocopies are $0.10 per page if photocopies need to be made.
